This two-bedroom apartment is in the heart of the Platinum Coast - the fabulous west coast of Barbados, renowned for its golden beaches and warm calm sea. The apartment is situated 5 minutes’ walk from the sea at Glitter Bay. You can walk along the beach in both directions and find small restaurants and cafes in which to sit and have a drink or something more substantial. You can swim with the turtles and enjoy snorkeling along the coral reefs. The apartment is located in a small, quiet gated community of six apartments which nestle around a small swimming pool. It is on the first floor and therefore gets a refreshing breeze blowing through. There is space for parking a car outside – although renting a car is not necessary, as two minutes’ walk away there is an extremely frequent bus service which will take you to all parts of the island. Holetown, the island’s main shopping centre is 10 minutes away by bus (and includes a large supermarket).
The apartment is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing time. There are two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a very large double bed and the second bedroom a smaller double bed. The apartment is best suited for two people (though a third can be easily accommodated (for an additional fee). There are two bathrooms – one en suite. It has a fully fitted kitchen with a large fridge freezer, hob and oven, microwave and washing machine. The large lounge has a west facing deck overlooking a fruit orchard where monkeys come and play in the morning and the sun goes down in the evening. There is fibre optic Wi-Fi and multichannel satellite TV. The apartment is extremely well maintained with a weekly maid service and a manager available to sort out any problems.
