Two bedroomed apartment in the heart of the West Coast of Barbados. A 5 minute walk to Mullins Beach. This private apartment is in a block of four apartments at Casablanca, Palm Grove, Mullins. It is extremely spacious and well equipped. This ground floor apartment opens on to the garden and swimming pool. The kitchen and both bathrooms were refurbished in 2022. The apartment has maid facilities, a gardener and private parking. The apartment sleeps four with two large bedrooms, a master with en-suite, air conditioning and a ceiling fan and the second bedroom, air conditioning, ceiling fan and it can be configured either as twin or a double bed, private bathroom.
The living area is open plan and has two seating areas looking over the pool and gardens. Guest have access to the gas barbeque in the garden. The apartment also has cable television, internet and an electronic safe.
Beaches
The apartment is a 5 minute walk to Mullins beach where sun loungers and umbrellas can be hired from Robert. Guests are also welcome to use the beach chairs, beach umbrella and cool box in the apartment. Mullins Beach offers a range of water sports. Adrian’s Bar offers a selection of drinks (alcoholic and non) and good food from the Grill. Mullins is also now home to Seashed Bar and Restaurant, book before your stay, if you want to eat in the evening. You can also drop in for a drink and the take out pizzas are amazing.
The apartment is a 10 minute walk to Gibbes beach, beach chairs, umbrella and cool box are a must as the beach is quieter.
Transport
You may wish to hire a car during your stay for a few days as Barbados is a wonderful Island. Take a trip to the East Coast stopping at Cherry Tree Hill on the way. St Nicholas Abbey is also en-route and well worth stopping off for. The apartment is ideally placed for using the local bus system. It will be about ten minutes on the bus to Speightstown and approximately 20 minutes to Holetown. Both have lots of facilities.
Eating out
As mentioned Seashed Restaurant is a 5 minute walk from the apartment, booking in advance is advisable. On Sundays it has entertainment and a beach club vibe. Local to the apartment are also some nice local bars, for a sundowner.
Other recommendations include: Pier One at Port St Charles, Fishpot and Tides. For Bajan food try Heinz bar, Ci-Ci’s and Chris’ place.
