Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Self catering, and a range of utensils, although I didn't want to cook, just have basic breakfasts, and snacks when in the accommodation, as we mainly ate out. Good quality fittings and furnishings, and a wall mounted TV in a small room off the lounge, which meant the lounge/kitchen area was not dominated by it. Good firm beds, quality linen; two showers was helpful in the morning. It was a great base for the activities we wanted to do. There was parking for the car that we hired. There is a little shop nearby that I bought milk from when there was a shortage on the island. It is on the main road between Holetown and Speightstown, so traffic was busy, we are used to Bajan traffic. We enjoyed sitting on the small verandah, flowers in the borders and visiting birds to see. Use of washing machine and separate tumble dryer. Secure access through key pads to the gates and the key box

Negative: There wasn't anything we didn't like! We know Barbados well: a file of helpful tips like the bus service, fares, routes; places to shop for food; cafe and restaurant details; nearby attractions might be handy for first-time visitors.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay: comfortable, well located and appointed. We hope to stay again!!
