Tantalus Villa, Brighton Beach, St. Michael, is a luxurious beachfront property along the West Coast of Barbados. The property has a five bedroom suites on the upper two levels of the main house. It is a beautiful residence with high quality coral stone finishing and flooring throughout. The total area is approximately 4200 square feet on the upper two levels with large balconies on both levels. Each bedroom is fully air-conditioned and equipped with ceiling fans as well.
The primary feature of Tantalus Villa is the large open living area overlooking the beautiful Caribbean sea. This is a beach lovers delight as the spacious balcony overlooks the beautiful sandy beach and the aquamarine Caribbean Sea. Brighton Beach itself is one of the top swimming/beach combing areas on the west coast of Barbados and after enjoying your day on the beach or in the water, you are perfectly situated to watch another Caribbean sunset displayed in glorious color right from your balcony. Enjoy having your meals at a large round glass dining room table overlooking the ocean and just steps away from the well laid out gourmet kitchen complete with all the amenities. All the doors and windows to the outside have full movable shutters to allow the breezes and light to flow through.
There are two bedrooms and a media room plus a laundry/utility area to the back half of the lower level of this two story suite, with a further three bedrooms and fitness room in the upper level. The master bedroom on the top level is a massive room with a private verandah and views over the pool and sea. It is a stunning room with the feel of living in a luxurious tree house and you may never want to leave.
Alongside the house is a large rectangular pool with Roman steps at one end. The pool is mosaic tiled in a dark cobalt blue color that keeps it exceptionally warm throughout the year. The grounds are well developed with mature trees and shrubbery and there are over a dozen coconut and other palms along the beachfront for shade. There is a private beach access gate with outdoor shower and lounging/seating areas. Brighton Beach itself, is a wide, calm beach ideally suited for all kinds of activity. The swimming and snorkeling is very good and you can jog or walk on uninterrupted on the sand for well over a kilometer in each direction.
Other positive features are that the location is excellent for access to downtown, West Coast, Warrens and the ABC Highway.your doorstep. The property enjoys good breezes for most of the year as it is not in the shadow of the more elevated lands along the west coast. An ideal family residence in a quiet area with good security.
