Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the the front one-bedroom unit. The place was clean, comfortable, cozy and well-equipped. It has a new Bosch clothes washer and a new 2 metre high Bosch fridge with a bottom freezer, a gas stove and oven, pots, pans, glasses for every occasion, washing powder, Saran Wrap, bags, a tea pot. Etc. All that you need for a comfortable long term stay in a self-catered flat. Michael, the owner, was responsive, thoughtful and kind. His neighbors, who know Michael, also were very helpful. it exceeded our expectations as it was better than the online pix suggested when we booked in December. The previous review was posted after we had been here two weeks and we did not recognize the place that the review described. There are no roaches. The place is very clean. The owner is understanding. We definitely plan to return here next time in Barbados. The best part about the stay is that you’re a 2 min walk to one of the best beaches in Barbados, Brighton Beach. We went everyday for a swim and then again in the evening to enjoy the amazing sunsets. The beach is sandy and the water is clear, blue and warm. When you dream about beautiful tropical beaches this is the one in your dreams. Another local attraction is The Hot Pot, a 5 min walk. There is a beach bar, Rascals, a 5 min walk down the road. A cute rum shop, June’s, is around the corner. She serves cold beer and food at prices that are about half Rascals. A large supermarket is 10 min walk.
